Charlotte Grimshaw
Head of Intermediary Relations & Mortgage Sales
Charlotte is no stranger to mutual lenders, having worked for two societies before joining the Suffolk in 2020. Charlotte is all about building relationships with clubs, networks and intermediaries, so she’ll often be found with a diary packed full of appointments and raring to get back on the road. When she is not at work, Charlotte enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking up a storm and is a big fan of eating and drinking.

Andrew Sadler
Key Account Manager
Andrew Sadler
Key Account Manager
Andrew has been with the Society since April 2015, and in the industry for over 20 years beforehand. There are few cases which Andrew hasn’t seen before and he loves being out and about visiting brokers, but most of all to help place a case where other lenders may say no. Andrew happily admits he is a geek at heart and is a keen Star Wars fan, with the 1977 original film the second film he ever saw in a cinema.
Andrew manages relationships with networks and clubs plus covers intermediaries based in the postcodes: EC, WC, E & ‘the London 1’s’ (N1, W1, SE1, SW1, NW1).

Chelsea Pordage
Business Development Team Leader
Chelsea joined the Society again in 2020, having worked in our branch network back in 2017. In between her time with us, she worked for a high street bank which enabled her to grasp a strong understanding of financial services and what it means to go the extra mile. When she’s not working, Chelsea enjoys travelling the world or, more recently, catching up on the latest Netflix release.

Sian joined the Society in February 2020. Although a newcomer to the industry she joined as part of our apprenticeship programme, gaining a qualification in business administration whilst getting an insight into the Society and the mortgage sector. Sian soon got into the swing of things and progressed to a full-time role within the sales team. Sian loves going out and having a good time with family and close friends.

Bea has worked in financial services since 2012, at mutual lenders and most recently as a mortgage broker. After life on the administration and advising side, Bea joined us in 2021 for a new challenge. Bea is looking forward to working with brokers on complex cases, finding solutions that fit. Outside of work Bea enjoys travelling and has completed Route 66, plus is always happy talking all things Disney, Marvel and Star Wars.

Vicky joined us in 2021 and is enjoying her first ever role in financial services. Business Development Representative
Leah Gibbard
Business Development Representative
Leah started with the Society in 2022, having previously worked at a marketing agency before she moved to Ipswich in late 2019 and started her mortgage career working for a couple of broker firms. Originally from Windsor, when she was growing up Leah lived in the grounds of Windsor castle and has seen the Queen “plenty of times”, even towel drying the corgis on many occasions. Leah now lives with her husband, taking care of her young stepdaughter on weekends and being servant to three cats and a dog. Spare time is in short supply but Leah can often be found walking, enjoying Ipswich’s waterfront bars or holidaying on the Greek island where her parents now live.

Maddie Gardiner
Business Development Representative
Maddie Gardiner
Business Development Representative
Maddie joined us in 2022, having started her working life spending five years in telecoms before joining the world of mortgages as an administrator for a broker firm. Maddie then embarked on a degree in physics at the University of East Anglia, realising halfway through that her future lies elsewhere – bringing her back to mortgages and into the arms of the Suffolk! Maddie confesses to liking maths and finance so it’s a match made in heaven. Maddie still has a keen interest in physics and owns a lot of astronomy books, and, at her peak, was able to solve a Rubik’s cube in less than a minute.
