Team changes

Earlier this year I was pleased to welcome Kevin Davis to join the team as Mortgage Sales Manager.

Kevin was previously a senior member of our mortgage underwriting team, so has handled many complex cases and was also our self build lending specialist.

In his new role, Kevin will be responsible for supervising the telephone based broker support team alongside managing the Society’s team of direct Mortgage Consultants. He’ll work closely with our intermediary Business Development Managers to ensure alignment between sales activity and the Society’s wider development strategy.

It hasn’t taken Kevin long to settle into his new role and he has already been on the road visiting brokers, thanks to his many years of expertise and thorough knowledge of our intermediaries.

Ipswich Building Society CEO, Richard Norrington, commented:

“Kevin has been an extremely dedicated member of the team for a decade now and I am delighted to extend my congratulations on his new position. We are always keen to recognise and develop the talent we have within the Society, and Kevin’s promotion from our underwriting team to Mortgage Sales Manager demonstrates the investments we make in our staff development.

“Kevin’s understanding of our business and our individual approach to manual lending will be of benefit to our sales operations, enabling us to both support our intermediary partners and direct applicants, helping prospective borrowers to achieve the mortgage offer they need.”
